Steps to take if your RCD or your Mcb is tripping.
90% of tripping is caused by faulty appliances such as Steam Irons, Kettles, and any appliance using water. If the steps here are followed it may save you a call out.
Even new equipment can have an earth fault, or an appliance that worked seemingly perfectly well in your previous home, which did not have an RCD controlling the circuit. Now that you have an RCD it trips out? The probable reason being water from the appliance is leaking onto electrical connections because a seal is gone!
